TOPRA is proud to have assembled an independent international judging panel from leading figures in regulatory affairs from industry, trade bodies, government agencies and academia, plus the legal and commercial healthcare world.

The Judging Process

Judges are allocated to Awards based on their areas of expertise such that there are at least five judges considering each Award. Selection of judges for each Award will take into account any potential for perceived conflict of interest.

The opinion of all judges will be sought for the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Judges will ‘mark’ the entries they receive in accordance with pre-determined criteria. These marks will not be disclosed and will be collated centrally to determine the winning entry. In the case of a tie the President of TOPRA will be asked to make the casting vote.

All judges will sign a confidentiality agreement and their deliberations are confidential.

The decision reached by the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the final result, which will be announced at the ceremony on 28 November 2012.
